Additive Manufacturing and Reverse Engineering Lab

With the popularity of 3D printing in industry soaring, the use of this lab by graduate and undergraduate students in manufacturing processes, laser processing, and rapid prototyping is also increasing.

Located in 112 Leonhard, the lab is equipped with PC workstations, portable laser scanner to provide 3D CAD modeling files of components, a Fused Deposition Machine for 3D rapid prototyping, and a stereo lithography machine for rapid prototyping of 3D components.

Sanjay Joshi, professor of industrial engineering, oversees the lab.
