A lab session in the Computer Classroom in the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at Penn State.

Computer Classroom

The Computer Classroom in 105 Leonhard Building provides a multi-purpose teaching and learning environment for Penn State industrial engineering faculty and students.

The classroom is equipped with thirty-three PC computer workstations with 19-inch flat screen monitors that are installed in specially designed desk units that place the equipment in a recessed position. This allows faculty to maintain a direct line of sight with students.

The overhead projection unit is tied into an instructor station that is equipped with the application software available at the student desks. This configuration allows faculty to display software applications for demonstrations or class walkthroughs.

The Computer Classroom is open 24 hours a day and is available for student use when a class is not in session.
